  • Great news...we've successfully enrolled in the Fred Meyer Community Rewards program! Here are the steps to link your shoppers card to Community Cakes:

    1. Visit www.fredmeyer.com

    2. Click on My Account

    3. Scroll down until you see the Community Rewards option and click on it

    4. A search bar will ask you to search for your organization by the name or number

    5. Type in "Community Cakes" or "EV522" (our organization number given by FM)

    6. Your shopper card is now linked!

  • Is your organization looking for a way to support Community Cakes? Sponsor a Supply Party! We hold parties where our volunteer bakers come to “shop” for all the baking supplies they will need. Contact us to learn more about how you can sponsor a Supply Party.

    Pacific Steel & Recycling accepts the following items, and will make a contribution to our organization. Different metals have different payouts so it's important to have them separated. Simply let them know you want your donations credited to Community Cakes when you drop off.

    • Soda Cans (Rinsed out, not crushed)

    • Tin Cans (Rinsed out)

    • Copper wire/tubing

    • Aluminum Wire/tubing

    • Christmas Lights

    • Electrical/Extension Cords

    • Car Batteries

    • Stainless Steel Items

    • Brass Items

    • Ammunition Metal Shell Casings (Empty)

    • Car Wheels (Without Tire)

    • Ran Gutters

    • Aerosol Cans (Must be punctured and drained)

    • Paint Cans (Must be empty, dry and under 5 gallons)

    • Miscellaneous Metal Items (Bicycles, scooters, metal fencing, rebar, lawnmowers, etc.)

      Here's what they DO NOT accept:

    • Household batteries (Lithium, AAA, AA, D, NiCd, NiMH, etc.)

    • AC units

    • Refrigerators

    • Pressurized cylinders/tanks/drums

    • Yard Waste

    • Plastic

    • Glass

    • Rubber

    • Paper

  • Show your support for Community Cakes by picking up some logo gear to wear around town. Share with your friends and family who also love to support Community Cakes.

    A small amount of proceeds go back to Community Cakes.

  • Help organize or volunteer for a fundraiser where all proceeds go to Community Cakes.

  • Create a heartfelt homemade birthday card to be delivered alongside a cake, making someone’s special day even sweeter.

  • Volunteer to post provided flyers on public information boards, raising awareness and support for Community Cakes.

  • Just Porch It is a program that will come pick up your unwanted items for free off your porch, and in turn they will make a donation to Community Cakes! Talk about a win-win!

    You can also drop off your unwanted items in the big green bin located at the front of Horizon Home Health and Hospice in Meridian- 63 W Willowbrook Dr, Meridian, ID 83646. Just Porch It will come collect the items from the bin on a regular basis.
